Kris Wampler is a licensed North Carolina attorney who practiced family law for nearly seven years before leaving practice to pursue a freelance writing career.  A native of Charlotte, Kris graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A., 2006) and the Wake Forest University School of Law (J.D., 2009).  Kris is a current member and former board member of the Charlotte Writers’ Club, and has been active in the writing community for nearly a decade.

​Besides writing, Kris enjoys running, playing guitar, 90s music, and his Old English Sheepdogs.  Kris resides in South Carolina.
